Technical supervision specialist – non-destructive inspection engineer

Requirements:

• higher or specialized secondary education;
• skills upgrade or receiving degree in non-destructive test (NDT);
• PC user;
• inspector’s job experience of more than 5 years in construction of onshore pipeline at Russian or overseas projects;
• knowledge of English and driver’s licence availability (desirable).

Key functions:

• witness of x-ray examination;
• control of radiographic safety;
• attendance at magnetic particle testing/ultrasonic examination;
• cross checking (if required);
• check of x-ray films reading;
• assessment of Contractor’s operators competency in NDT.

Conditions:

• job on contractual and long-term secondment basis;
• place of residence registration is of no importance;
• salary is subject to negotiation with regard to background and experience.

Required documents for job position:

• Dimploma of higher/secondary technical education;
• Certificate of Competency of Grade II or III for the following types of NTD: x-ray RC, visual examination VE, ultrasonic UE, penetrant PPE;
• Certificate issued by Rostechnadzor for industrial safety in oil and gas sector (acc. RD 08-200-98; RD 08-896-99);
• driver’s licence, category “B” (desirable).
